Today the company has grown from its humble beginnings into a trusted leader in the logistics industry, spanning over 80 years and three generations of dedicated service in the logistics industry & leadership. Today the company offers seamless logistical solutions with the most effective combination of rail, ocean, and road transport, as well as customs clearance, freight forwarding and all related services.
Here, the final product is the transportation of cargo from one place to another. We, being a logistics company, merge with various modes of transport like railways, trucks, seaways etc. making it a backward integration process as the modes of transport appear before the cargo reaches its destination.

Our Founder
Our founder Jamnadas Meghji Kothari, who dared to dream big arrived from Kutch (Gujarat) to Bombay at a very young age with the entrepreneurial passion and vision in the logistics industry. He is the founder behind J M Kothari & Sons which today is known as J M Kothari & Sons Translogistics Private Limited. In the year 1942, he established the company with the mission to deliver reliable, efficient, and innovative tailor-made logistics solutions that connect businesses and communities through India & globally. Since then, we are committed to providing exceptional customer service, optimizing supply chains to ensure timely, cost-effective, and sustainable multi modal transportation & all logistics related services under one roof.

Mr. Deepak Kothari
Joined in the year 1977, With over 45 years of hands-on experience & his street smartness & skills, he has been a guiding force in the
company’s operations. From streamlining supply chain processes to fostering long-term client relationships, he has played a critical role in ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Mr. Manoj Kothari
Manoj J Kothari joined in the year 1990, with his major strength to keep up with the evolving time, He brings 30 plus years of expertise & he is the dynamic driving force behind the company’s technological & strategic advancements. He has spearheaded key initiatives, ensuring that the company remains competitive in a fast-evolving industry. Their combined leadership reflects the values of hard work, consistency, and customer focus that define the company. Together, they continue to inspire the next generation while upholding the company’s rich legacy.
Mr. Nikunj Kothari
When a young, dynamic and technology-driven leader joins the company, it adds to the energy and spirit of the entire organization. That is what exactly happened when Mr. Nikunj Kothari joined the company envisioning it to expand in every way possible. With this determination, he set up an entire new vertical of Custom Clearance and Freight Forwarding and is successfully managing it all by himself. He is a BBA graduate from DY Patil College and currently pursuing a post-graduation diploma in Custom Clearance and Freight Forwarding at Mumbai university. His thirst for gaining knowledge from this field keeps his inquisitiveness alive, allowing him to become an effective leader.
